Angel Reese Reveals How She’s Been Treated by Chicago Sky Since WNBA Draft

The Chicago Sky have been taking criticism all week for what fans felt was a disappointing introductory press conference for No. 7 overall pick and former LSU superstar Angel Reese.

Reese, however, doesn’t seem to be paying attention to the outside noise.

She’s had a great first few days with her new team – and on Sunday, following day one of WNBA Training Camp, she shared a few words about how she’s been treated by her teammates and coaches.

“They embrace me so much [and] they don’t treat me like a rookie, so I feel at home. Like, this feels like home,” Reese shared, via the Chicago State of Mind YouTube channel.

Reese shared a few more noteworthy comments during her interview on Sunday, including an admission about a current WNBA rule she says she’ll need time in adjusting to.

The Sky will continue training camp this week ahead of their preseason opener on Friday at Minnesota.
